课程简介:
《大学英语》(本科)课程作为一门必修的公共基础课对全院非英语专业学生开设。大学英语教学是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外语教学理论为指导,并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。本教材旨在帮助大学本科各专业学生进一步打下扎实的语言基础,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
本课程的教学目标是培养学生英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力、提高综合文化素质,以适应我国经济发展和国际交流的需要。

一、课程的性质、任务
对低于大学英语教学大纲(高等学校本科用)入学要求的学生,另设预备级(College English Intensive Reading Preparatory Band, 简称CEIRPB)作为预备阶段的教学要求。《大学英语》预备级课程是非英语专业一年级学生进入《大学英语》一级课程的准备课程,为大学英语的进一步学习奠定基础。通过本课程的学习,使学生领会掌握1200个英语单词(其中复用式掌握的单词为800),并在读、听、写、说、译等方面进行正规训练。使学生巩固、扩大基础知识,发展听、说、读、写、译的基本技能,提高初步运用英语进行交际的能力,侧重培养阅读能力;使他们在英语学习过程中,受到思想品德、爱国主义和社会主义等方面的教育,增进对外国文化,特别是英语国家文化的了解;在学习中,发展学生的智力,培养创新精神和实践能力,形成有效的学习策略。
二、课程的教学目的和要求
预备级以掌握最基本的英语语音和语法。从预备级开始的学生经过两个学期(另外增加60学时,相当于一学期的英语学时用于预备级学习)的学习,使他们在一年级下学期应达到二级要求。在二年级时还应继续修读三、四级,达到基础阶段规定的基本要求,为进一步提高英语水平打好语言基础。后续课程为大学英语一级课程。
教学总体要求
(1)词汇
领会式掌握1200个单词(其中复用式掌握的单词为800个),以及由这些词构成的常用词组(中学已掌握的单词和词组包括在内),并具有按照基本构词法识别生词的能力,能根据所学的构词法在上下文中理解派生词和合成词的词义。
(2)语法
巩固和加深以前学过的语法知识,提高在语篇水平上运用语法知识的能力。
(3)阅读能力
能以每分钟50-60个词的速度,阅读生词率不超过3%的有关人物传记、故事、记叙文、社会文化、文史知识、科普小品等不同题材的材料,能够把握中心思想和主要的事实,理解正确率达到70%。能借助词典读懂难度略低于所学语言的材料。能把握所读材料的主要逻辑线索,时间和空间的顺序。能根据上下文理解作者的态度和观点。能根据已知的事实推断出文中段落未直接写出的意思。
(4)听的能力
能听懂课堂用语和教师用学生所学过的简单英语对新词语意义的解释,逐渐听懂英语讲课,并能听懂题材熟悉、句子结构比较简单、基本没有生词、语速以每分钟50-80的简短会话、谈话、报道和讲座,掌握其中心大意,抓住要点和有关细节,领会讲话者的观点和态度。能听写没有生词的句子和内容简单的语段。语速为每分钟110-120个词。第一遍只听不写,第二遍边听边写,第三遍检查。书写速度为每分钟15个词。
(5)说的能力
能就课文内容较熟练地进行问答,并作简单的讨论。经过准备,能简单地复述所听到的或读过的文段,内容有一定的连贯性。围绕日常生活的话题,进行初步的交际。能基本表达主要的意思。
(6)写的能力
具有良好的书写习惯。能用书写体熟练而清楚地书写,要求书写格式、连笔、词距、标点正确。能在阅读难度与课文相仿的书面材料时做笔记,回答问题、写提纲,能就一定的话题在半小时内写出80-100字左右的短文,能写短信和便条,意思表达正确,基本语法和常用句型无严重错误。
(7)译的能力
能借助词典将难度略低于课文的进行中、英文互译,理解正确、译文达意。
三、课程的教学内容
Unit 1 How to Be a Successful Language Leaner (Learning to Think All Over Again)
(一)教学要求:
1.要求学生用英语复述课文的主要内容。
2.进行一系列和课文主题相关的听、说、读、写训练。
(二)教学内容:
1. 重点词汇:
process, associate, various, represent, instead, image, challenge, analogy, substitute, choose, reduce, bundle, concept, previous.
2.重要语言点:what…clause.
3.根据课文提供的重点句型进行中、英文互译;课文的篇章分析。
(三)教学建议:
1.注重因材施教,结合学生的实际英语水平进行教学。

Unit 2 Parents (A Father, a Son and an Answer)
(一)教学要求:
1.通过讲、练结合,使学生掌握课文的重点语言知识点。
2.引导学生进行系列的教学活动。
(二)教学内容:

2.要求学生使用本单元的重点语言用英语阐述本文的主要内容。
3.针对性地对本文的主旨组织学生进行一系列的听、说、读、写训练。

一、课程的性质、任务
1.大学英语课程是太阳官网学生必修的公共基础课。大学英语的教学目标是培养学生英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力、提高综合文化素养,以适应我国经济发展和国际交流的需要。
2.教学的基本要求:根据《大学英语课程教学要求》,大学英语教学从对能力的要求上分为一般要求、较高要求和更高要求,其中一般要求是每个大学毕业生必须达到的目标。因此,对于太阳官网达到或未达到《高中英语课程标准》七级(词汇量为2200个左右)的大学新生,将一般要求作为大学阶段英语学习的目标。对于那些学有余力,英语基础较好,达到《高中英语课程标准》八、九级的大学新生,将较高要求或更高要求作为大学阶段英语学习的目标。上述要求的具体阐述参见教育部颁发的《大学英语课程教学要求》。
二、课程的教学目的和要求
通过本级别课程的学习,应达到进入一级学习的水平。具体要求如下:
1.语音:能听懂英语讲课及简短会话和谈话,抓住中心大意和要点。
2.语法:巩固和加深基本语法知识,提高在语篇水平上运用语法知识的能力。
3.词汇:领会式掌握550单词(其中复用式掌握的词为350),以及由这些词构成的常用词组,领会式掌握累计词汇数为2350,其中复用式掌握的累计词汇数为1550;逐步培养根据基本构词法识别生词的能力。
4.阅读:能顺利阅读语言难度中等的一般性题材的文章,掌握中心大意以及说明中心大意的事实和细节,并能进行一定的分析、推理和判断,领会作者的观点和态度,阅读速度达到每分钟60词。在阅读篇幅较长、难度略低、生词不超过总词数3%的材料时,能掌握中心大意,抓住主要事实和有关细节,阅读速度达到每分钟80词。能读懂语言难度一般的普通题材的文章,掌握中心大意,了解说明中心大意的事实和细节。快速阅读材料难度应低于课文,生词不超过总词数的3%。
5.听力:能听懂英语讲课,并能听懂题材熟悉、句子结构比较简单、基本上没有生词、语速为每分钟120词的简短会话、谈话、报道和讲座,掌握其中心大意。
6.写作:能根据所学课文作笔记、回答问题、完成提纲和填写表格,能就所学内容在半小时内写出100词左右的短文。内容比较连贯,语法基本正确。
7.口语:学会基本课堂用语,能用英语提问并回答教师就课文提出的问题。并能就教材内容和适当的听力材料进行问答和复述,能用英语进行一般的日常会话,语音、语调基本正确。
8.翻译:能翻译难度低于课文的英语文章,理解正确,译文基本达意,译速每小时250英语词。能译出句子结构比较简单的汉语,译文达意,基本无重大语言错误,译速每小时200汉字。
三、课程的教学内容
Unit One: Some Strategies for Learning English 7学时

课程性质:公共基础课
课程任务:本大纲教学任务是,培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养,以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。

一、课程的性质、任务
课程性质:公共基础课
课程任务:本大纲教学任务是,培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养,以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。
二、课程的教学目的和要求
1) 听力理解能力:能听懂英语授课,能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材讲座,能基本听懂英语国家慢速英语节目,语速为每分钟130词左右,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要点。能运用基本的听力技巧帮助理解。
2)口语表达能力: 能在学习过程中用英语交流,并能就某一主题进行讨论,能就日常话题和英语国家的人士进行交谈,能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言,表达比较清楚,语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。
3)阅读理解能力: 能基本读懂一般性题材的英文文章,阅读速度达到每分钟70词。在快速阅读篇幅较长、难度略低的材料时,阅读速度达到每分钟100词。能基本读懂国内英文报刊,掌握中心意思,理解主要事实和有关细节。能读懂工作、生活中常见的应用文体的材料。能在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法。
4)书面表达能力: 能完成一般性写作任务,能描述个人经历、观感、情感和发生的事件等,能写常见的应用文,能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出120词的短文,内容基本完整,用词恰当,语意连贯。能掌握基本的写作技能。
5) 翻译能力:能借助词典对题材熟悉的文章进行英汉互译,英汉译速为每小时300英语单词,汉英译速为每小时250个汉字。译文基本流畅,能在翻译时使用适当的翻译技巧。
6)推荐词汇量:掌握的总词汇量应达到4500个单词和700个词组,其中2000个单词为积极词汇,即要求学生能够在认知的基础上学会熟练运用,包括口头和书面表达两个方面。

一、课程的性质、任务
《预备级》作为《综合英语》的补充,起点相当于高中二年级的英语水准,在语法和词汇方面的安排带有补基础的性质。本套教材独辟蹊径,以全新的视角诠释现代英语的语言学习模式和教学规律。
二、课程的教学目的和要求
由于生源的变化,对部分地区的学生来说,现有教材的起点还是太高,该书作为《综合英语》的补充,起点相当于高中二年级的英语水准,在语法和词汇方面的安排带有补基础的性质。读者学完《预备级》和《综合英语》第一册后就能参加《高等学校英语应用能力考试(B级)》。

四、课程教学形式与安排
以课堂教学为主,适当运用多媒体教室;课堂演示以板书为主,磁带、光碟为辅;课堂安排有师生讨论、学生分组讨论、自学指导、课堂作业、课后作业与课外活动,其中作业部分每单元完成课后练习20题、作文一次;考核方式安排是期末考试(其中综合成绩评定平时成绩占30%,期末考试占70%)。

一、课程的性质、任务
《大学英语》(专科)课程是一门针对全校非英语专业专科学生开设的必修课。大学英语教学是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外语教学理论为指导,并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。
二、课程的教学目的和要求
(一)本课程教学目的与任务是∶经过107学时的教学,使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和技能,具有一定的目标语言综合应用能力,即一定的听、说、写、译的能力,从而能借助词典阅读和翻译有关英语业务资料,在涉外交际的日常活动和业务活动中进行简单的口头和书面交流,并为进一步提高英语水平打下较好的基础。
(二)本课程在加强英语语言基础知识和基本技能训练的同时,重视培养学生实际使用英语进行交际的能力。通过本课程的学习,学生应该达到以下要求∶
1. 词汇 :认知2500个英语单词以及由这些词构成的常用词组,对其中的1500个左右的单词能正确拼写,英汉互译。
2. 语法:掌握基本的英语语法规则,在听、说、读、写、译中能正确运用所学语法知识。
3. 听力:能听懂涉及日常交际的结构简单、发音清楚、语速较慢(每分钟110词左右)的英语简短对话和陈述,理解基本正确。
4. 口语:掌握一般的课堂用语,并能在日常涉外活动中进行简单的交流。
5. 阅读:能阅读中等难度的一般题材的简短英文资料,理解正确。在阅读生词不超过3%的英文资料时,阅读速度不低于每分钟50词。能读懂通用的简短实用文字材料,如信函、产品说明等,理解基本正确。
6. 写作:能运用所学词汇和语法写出简单的短文;能用英语填写表格,套写便函、简历等,词句基本正确,无重大语法错误,格式基本恰当,表达清楚。
7. 翻译:能借助词典将中等偏下难度的一般题材的文字材料译成汉语。理解正确,译文达意。

四、课程教学形式与安排
本课程采用以交际法为框架、结构法为支持的实用语言与技能的综合训练法。以实用口头交际为主线的听说训练,以应用性文献为主的阅读训练,以模拟套写应用文为主的写作训练。 充分发挥多媒体和网络的教学优势,运用以学生为中心的情景式交际法和案例教学法,结合小组讨论和课外调研等形式进行教学;充分调动学生学习的积极性和主动性,贯彻因材施教、精讲多练、讲练结合的原则;突出管理英语的语言特点及难点和重点,强调培养英语实用能力及自主学习、协作学习的能力。

一、课程的性质、任务
《大学英语》(专科)课程是一门针对全校非英语专业专科学生开设的必修课。大学英语教学是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外语教学理论为指导,并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。
二、课程的教学目的和要求
(一)本课程教学目的与任务是∶经过107学时的教学,使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和技能,具有一定的目标语言综合应用能力,即一定的听、说、写、译的能力,从而能借助词典阅读和翻译有关英语业务资料,在涉外交际的日常活动和业务活动中进行简单的口头和书面交流,并为进一步提高英语水平打下较好的基础。
(二)本课程在加强英语语言基础知识和基本技能训练的同时,重视培养学生实际使用英语进行交际的能力。通过本课程的学习,学生应该达到以下要求∶
1. 词汇 :认知2500-3400个英语单词以及由这些词构成的常用词组,对其中的1500个左右的单词能正确拼写,英汉互译。
2. 语法:掌握基本的英语语法规则,在听、说、读、写、译中能正确运用所学语法知识。
3. 听力:能听懂涉及日常交际的结构简单、发音清楚、语速较慢(每分钟110词左右)的英语简短对话和陈述,理解基本正确。
4. 口语:掌握一般的课堂用语,并能在日常涉外活动中进行简单的交流。
5. 阅读:能阅读中等难度的一般题材的简短英文资料,理解正确。在阅读生词不超过3%的英文资料时,阅读速度不低于每分钟50词。能读懂通用的简短实用文字材料,如信函、产品说明等,理解基本正确。
6. 写作:能运用所学词汇和语法写出简单的短文;能用英语填写表格,套写便函、简历等,词句基本正确,无重大语法错误,格式基本恰当,表达清楚。

学生对单词及其运用的掌握,对语法点和句法结构的掌握,听力及口语的提升情况,写作的运用。
四、课程教学形式与安排
根据学生水平和教学内容,有效地安排课堂时间,恰当运用各种教学方法,合理组织教学活动,尽可能多的让学生参与课堂活动。课堂教学做到以教师为主导,学生为主体,实践为主线;做到重点突出,难点突破。在整个教学活动中注意培养并提高学生运用语言的能力。以大纲为指导完成教学基本内容,一切活动围绕教学内容展开。
